Material Description:
Power Lime is a Flue Gas Industrial By-Product material derived from the scrubbing of the flue gas associated from the combustion of coal used to generate electricity. Lime is used as the scrubbing agent. A complete material analysis is available upon request. Moisture in the material varies from 20% to 26%.
Purpose statement: This product is intended to be used as a soil amendment. This product can be used to adjust soils to optimum pH levels.

Wood Ash is a safe and economic alternative to agricultural limestone (ag lime) to improve acidic soils and crop yield. It provides essential nutrients that lead to strong yields. University of Wisconsin greenhouse trials and field trials demonstrate significantly improved barley and alfalfa yields in fields with wood ash.
